Aulas, Marie Christine, former MEP and specialist on Mediterranean and Middle East issues, is a consultant. She enjoys travelling and swimming.
Behrend, Juan, former Green Peace Board member, Economist and Sociologist, Researcher and Journalist, is Co-Secretary General of the "Greens/EFA Group".
Bergamaschi, Paolo, first elected Green counselor in Italy, a veterinarian by profession, singer and composer by vocation, is the Advisor on Foreign Affairs to the “Greens-EFA Group” in the EP.
Bleahu, Marcian, ex-minister of environment, ex-member of the Romanian Senate, is a university professor of ecology, member of the Board of the Ecological Federation of Romania.
Blokov, Ivan, a Physicist, was co-founder of the official Green Party in the Soviet Union and delegate to the European Greens. Has been Campaign Director Greenpeace Russia for the last ten years.
Boer, de, Anne, former EFGP Secretary General is now working for GroenLinks and Coordinator of the “Green East-West-Dialogue”.
Boissière, Bruno, former Co-Secretary of the Coordination of Green and Radical Parties in the EC (1984-1992), former Vice-President of the Green group in EP (1992-1994), has been Secretary General of the Union of European Federalists since 1997.
Braz, Felix, delegate of the Luxembourg Greens at Majvik, is today vice-mayor of Esch, representing Déi Gréng.
Brélaz, Daniel, first green member of the Swiss parliament in 1979, is now mayor of Lausanne.
Cassola, Arnold, an academic by profession, author of various books and co-founder of the Malta Green Party (1989), is the Secretary General, since 1999, of the “European Greens”.
Castro, Isabel, Co-secretary of the European Greens 1989-1991, member of Os Verdes, Portugal, is at present an MP for “Os Verdes” in the Portuguese national parliament.
Cohn-Bendit, Daniel, former Deputy Mayor of Frankfurt and founder of the "Foreigners' Parliament", has been President of the mixed EU-Turkey Parliamentary Committee and is now Co-President of the Greens/EFA Group in the EP.
Cox, Leo, former secretary general of the EFGP, is now working for he EPP-ED Group in the EP.
Coyne, Marian, formerly a social worker in Scotland and now teacher of English in her adopted homeland of Belgium, was top Euro-candidate for the Scottish Greens in ‘99 and Spokesperson of the Federation for 2000-2003.
Cunha, Manuela, former EFGP delegate, is international secretary of “Os Verdes” Portugal.
Dierickx, Ludo, lawyer, was Green Belgian MP from 1981 until 1995. He has written books on nationalism and ecology in Dutch and French. He is now secretary general of “B-Plus”, a movement for a democratic federalism in Belgium.
Droppa, György, Co-chair of Green Democrats (Hungary) and chargé d’affaires of the NGO “Danube Circle”, is an expert in river rehabilitation.
Ernst, Brigitte, was one of the first green aldermen of the city of Liège at the age of 25 and then became MEP at the age of 32. She was member of the executive body of Ecolo for two and a half years, till summer 2002.
Felsbergs, Valdis, former co-secretary of the Latvian Green Party, is today involved in private practice.
Floss, Franz, former Spokesperson of the Federation and long time International Secretary of the Austrian Greens, is currently Secretary General of the Austrian Green Party.
Francescato, Grazia, a journalist by profession, Honorary President of “I Verdi”, Town Councilor for Environmental Policies in Tricase (Puglia), member of the City Council of Villa San Giovanni (Calabria), is currently the Female Spokesperson of the EFGP.
Frassoni, Monica, former Secretary General of the Young European Federalists (JEF) and first Italian MEP elected abroad, is currently Co-President of the Green/EFA Group in the EP.
Gahrton, Per, an academic by profession, Co-secretary of the European Greens Co-ordination 1984-89 and co-founder of the Swedish Green party, has been Member of the European Parliament since 1995.
Graefe zu Baringdorf, Friedrich, farmer by profession, and MEP for Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, Germany, since 1984.
Grèze, Catherine, EFGP committee member, is also in charge of International Affairs for Les Verts.
Haavisto, Pekka, former Finnish MP (1987-1995) and Minister for Environment and Development Co-operation (1995-1999), is now chairing the post-conflict environmental assessments for UNEP in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq and in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and is the EFGP Spokesperson.
Hamels, Johan, a vegetarian by conviction was International Secretary for Agalev 1989-1995. Later he worked in Africa, Asia and Europe on democracy programmes. He is currently the Secretary General of Agalev.
Hannula, Outi, who has been the EFGP Treasurer since 2001, is the International relations officer of the Green League of Finland.
Harper, Robin, Britain’s first ever Green Parliamentarian, alone in the Scottish Parliament, led the Scottish Green Party to a stunning success in the 2003 election, gaining seven seats. He still plays the guitar.
Janssens, Dirk was secretary of the Coordination of Green Parties in 1983-84; co-secretary of the European Greens in 1984-1986. He now has his own business.
Jonckheer, Pierre, former MP and Senator for Ecolo, is today Member of the European Parliament, representing Ecolo.
Jordan, Gerhard, member of the Co-Secretariat of the European Green Coordination in 1989-91 and Die Grünen, Austria, works for the Green Group in the Vienna City parliament.
Karayan, Harry, is one of the founding members of the Cyprus Green party. He is the CEO for a company in the Renewable Energy Field and a former Chairman and Dean in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Kortvelyessy, Niki, EFGP Spokesperson from 1994 to 2000, has recently moved from London to Budapest. She is teaching EU studies to Hungarian business people and civil servants, and (still) writing her book.
Lambert, Jean, a teacher by profession, was representative of the UK Green Party 1985-86 and 1987-89, and is now a MEP for the Green Party of England and Wales.
Lamberts, Philippe, former delegate of Ecolo to EFGP, is today a local councillor in Anderlecht and EFGP committee member.
Leestmans, Jef, former treasurer of the EFGP, is now working for the Department of Nature of the Flemish Community in Belgium.
Lippelt, Helmut, former MP, is in the steering committees of the German-Russian, the German-Ukrainian and the German-Polish Fora. He is member of the Advisory Council of the Böll-Foundation, and engaged in Human Rights Questions in the Caucasus.
Maher, Bronwen, is currently Comhaontas Glas Spokesperson on Women’s Affairs and Chair of the party’s equality committee. When not campaigning she enjoys walking and holidays in West Cork.
Malmén, Anders, secretary of international group of Miljöpartiet de Gröna, Sweden (1984-1988), is now living in Brussels.
Martinez Sevilla, Alvaro, a mathematician by profession and a mountaineer by vocation, former member of parliament and senator, is the Secretary for Energy Policy of “Los Verdes de Andalucía” (Spain).
Meinzolt-Depner, Heidi, a language and sport teacher, still works with NGOs on women and peace issues.
Monö, Ralph, Secretary General of EFGP 1995-99, was the former Director and International Secretary of the Swedish Greens. Has worked extensively, even in Africa, with development issues and now works for the Swedish government in Belgrade.
Müntzing, Karin, psychologist by profession, was representative in the international group of Miljöpartiet de Gröna, Sweden, between 1981-1985. She now works as a psychologist.
Parkin, Sara, Co-secretary of the European Coordination in 1985-1990 and member of the Green Party UK, is currently: Programme Director, “Forum for the Future”.
Poleszynski, Dag Viljen, economist/nutritionist/social scientist, is a professor of nutritional medicine and a health journal editor. He is an advisor to the Norwegian Green Party.
Rokos, Miroslav, former president of the Czech Green Party, is still an EFGP delegate and also a member of Green Party Regional Council in Southern Moravia and a city councillor in Brno. He works in the Ministry of the Environment.
Sauri, Pekka co-spokesperson for the EFGP in 1994-1997, is a psychologist by profession and chair of Helsinki City Council from 2001. His books include “The Psychology of Politics” and “The Democratization of Finland” (in press).
Schaffer-Wyler, Marie, former EFGP Committee member, board member of the Swiss Greens, is taking a break after 13 years in local Parliament. Earns her living working for an NGO for international cooperation.
Schaffner, Hans Beat, cantonal MP of Zurich 1983-1991, is today committee member of the Swiss Greens.
Schmidt, Frithjof, member of the EFGP committee since 2000, former member of the federal board of the German greens, is the Speaker of the green regional state party of Northrhine-Westfalia, Germany.
Szuba, Gabriela, economist, is currently working as a collaborator of the Greens-EFA Group in the EP on the enlargement issues. She is deeply involved in the process of political integration of Polish Greens.
Ter Haar, Otto, former EFGP delegate for De Groenen (1992-1994, 1998-2001), former president De Groenen (1999-2002), is network administrator and Microsoft trainer.
Theiler, Luzius, sociologist, has always been a member and transverse philosopher in the national committee of the Swiss Greens, and is vocationally active as real estate adviser.
Zhvania, Zurab, former member of the EFGP committee, and former speaker of the Georgia Parliament, is today MP, leader of the opposition in Georgia.
